If you make your profile REGISTERED USERS ONLY, it prevents the spoof sites from discovering your whole profile. But if you are set to ALL USERS, you will get spoofed.

The danger is twofold:
1. Someone who is looking for you and googles you to find your xhamster account to say hi, logs in--except they aren't actually logging in to xhamster! This doesn't hurt you directly.
2. A spoof site now has a copy of your profile. Which they could use later. That isn't good for you.

But just because something is "blocked" doesn't mean it is gone! So if the porncache site lookes exactly like xhamster, and has a login screen, and you login, then you have just handed them your login data! And if that happens to be the same password as you use on some other site, then you have compromised that, too! And your email address is then available...and if you use the same password...etc
